When the heroes in a half shell show up to save the day they have their go-to weapons, but they also take advantage of what’s around them. There’s the time Michelangelo drove looters off with a couple sausage links he used as makeshift nunchucks. Bad guys better watch out if the turtles get access to a bike or skateboard, they’ve got some dangerous tricks up their shells. Often the turtles are breaking out some sweet martial art kicks and punches, no equipment necessary. But when the turtles bring out their signature weapons it’s really their time to shine. The wise and fast thinking Donatello relies on his gnarly bo staff to put those bad ninjas back in their places. Like his mutant brothers, he still has a long way to go before he’s as good a combatant as Splinter but he’s without a doubt ahead of the curve. If you’re going as Donatello this Halloween, make sure you’re prepared for whatever ninja is headed your way and get that bo staff ready. Cowabunga, dude!
